Our History
Founded in 1989 and rapidly growing globally.
In 1989, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya (DKO) started a small prayer meeting with 24 attendees in his living room. The meetings grew rapidly due to miraculous manifestations of God’s power, leading to the establishment of the Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries (MFM).
The first official service was held on April 24, 1994, at the headquarters in Yaba, Lagos. MFM expanded strategically across Nigeria and internationally to London, the United States, Canada, Europe, the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia.
Today, MFM is one of the world's fastest-growing churches, transforming lives through prayer, deliverance, and faith-based empowerment. The ministry emphasizes spiritual discipline, fervent prayer, and deliverance from spiritual bondage. Its teachings have inspired countless believers to develop strong faith and unwavering devotion to God.
MEET OUR GENERAL OVERSEER
Dr. D.K. Olukoya & Dr. Mrs. Sade Olukoya
Dr. D.K. Olukoya and Dr. Mrs. Sade Olukoya lead with vision and faith. Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya (DKO), after earning his Ph.D. in the United Kingdom and serving at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research, began a small prayer meeting in his living room in 1989 with just 24 attendees. Witnessing incredible growth through God's power and verifiable miracles, the meetings evolved into the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), with its first official service held on April 24, 1994.
Today, under Dr. Olukoya's visionary leadership, MFM has expanded globally, becoming one of the fastest-growing churches in the world, impacting lives through prayer, deliverance, and faith-based empowerment.
Mrs. Sade Olukoya is the International Coordinator of the MFM Women's Foundation and wife of the General Overseer. A talented artist, illustrator, and musical performer, she empowers women through literacy and skill acquisition programs while contributing her creative gifts to the ministry. Known for her leadership, deep spirituality, and impactful messages, Dr. Mrs. Olukoya continues to inspire lives globally through her dedication and faith.
